Turn left and walk beneath the railroad overpass on Avenue Bouloumie, past the great Continental building, once a grand hotel, now partly rental apartments/flats, with a wing dedicated to the Hôtel Mercure Vittel. More... Continue straight on to enter the Club Med Vittel Le Parc, the full summer resort; or walk right just before the resort entrance to enter the Parque Thermal, which is open to all, along the Avenue du Casino walking path. On your left is the Palais des Congrès (convention center), beyond it the Grand Hotel with its Grand Escalier (stairway), the Grand Galerie, Source des Demoiselles, Palmarium, and the Pavillon de la Grand Source. Among all these grand institutions are smaller chalet-style villas, churches, pavilions, and a rose garden, all in the gracious, self-conscious spa resort style.
