The Office de Tourisme de Caen is conveniently located in the Place Saint-Pierre just across from the Château de Caen (map). Take Tram A or Tram B to the Saint-Pierre stop. The multi-lingual staff can provide maps, brochures, and information about visiting tourist sites in Caen. It can also help with information about visits to the nearby D-Day sites. You can ask the Tourist Office for a Caen Pass Tourisme, which provides slight reductions in some admissions fees and discounts on various services. Housed in a 16th century mansion with a lovely courtyard behind it, the Tourist Office is across from the beautiful Église St-Pierre and just down the street from the Maison des Quatrans, a historic half-timbered house from the 14th and 15th centuries. Historical note: The Quatrans family were lawyers for the King in Caen in the 14th century. Office de Tourisme de Caen
