Antibes, 24 km (15 miles) southwest of Nice and 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) northeast of Cannes (map), is a small, exclusive Côte d'Azur town noted for its nice, small historic district, museums of Picasso and Napoleon, a fort on a hill, and the number and size of the yachts in its harbor.

Served by frequent trains between Cannes and Nice, Antibes is easy to get to and fun to walk around, though you may feel a bit left out if you have no yacht moored in the marina nor a villa in the old town or in the hinterland.

English is spoken by many people in Antibes, as many of the yachts have English-speaking owners.
