Paris Travel Planner   Parc Floral, Bois de Vincennes, Paris
The Parc Floral was established in the Bois de Vincennes in 1969 and today offers beautiful plantings and educational programs.

The Parc Floral in the Bois de Vincennes (Vincennes forest), just outside of the Château de Vincennes on the southeast side of Paris, includes hundreds of species of plants.

It includes a four season garden, a garden of "senteurs," or smells, and a butterfly garden.

Its plantings, pavilions, and fountains make it a pleasant place to walk. Educational programs, shows, and events are offered for children and adults.

Open air sculptures dotted throughout the Parc provide visual interest.

The Parc Floral was created in 1969, and in 1998 it was recognized as an official site of the Botanical Garden of Paris.
