Poitiers has a good if limited selection of hotels in all price ranges, bed-and-breakfast houses, and short-term rental apartments/flats. Consider location carefully: if you stay near the train station, you'll climb the steep hill (on foot or by bus or taxi) for sightseeing, restaurants and shopping. Staying on the hilltop in the city center (map) is most convenient.
