Paris Travel Planner   Restaurants near the Louvre, Paris
Art and food...always a good combination!

You've spent hours visiting the Louvre, you're hungry and tired. You could have lunch in the Louvre, which offers several options, including the Café Marly. The nearby Musée des Arts Décoratifs also has a restaurant, Le Saut du Loup (with outdoor dining in season).

Or you could walk up to the Rue St. Honoré and have a broad range of restaurants to choose from. For something more informal, try one of the outdoor restaurants in the Tuileries Gardens.

The Rue du Louvre, at the eastern end of the Louvre, across from the Cour Carrée, has a number of restaurants and cafés on most corners. Tending toward the casual, these spots often feature pizza, sandwiches, crêpes, and panini.

And as you visit other museums in Paris, remember that most have at least one restaurant, and some offer several options. Although not inexpensive, most museums do offer quality food in a range of settings from cafeteria-like to more formal restaurants.

If you want to walk a bit farther, head to the Les Halles area or Rue Montorgueil for a large selection of restaurants and cafés.
