Aéroport Paris Beauvais Tillé (BVA), 83 km (52 miles) north of Paris in Picardie (map), serves mostly newer, low-fare airlines to leisure destinations. It has far fewer flights than Paris's two major airports, Charles de Gaulle Airport and Orly Airport. You reach Aéroport Paris Beauvais Tillé by the Aérobus Paris-Beauvais from the Parking Pershing near Porte Maillot in Paris (16.90€ one-way, 29.90€ round-trip, free for those younger than four years). Buses are timed to serve particular flights, departing the airport 20 minutes after a flight arrives, and departing Porte Maillot at least 3 hours before a flight departs. The nonstop trip takes about 75 minutes. More... It's also possible to take a TER train from Paris's Gare du Nord to the city of Beauvais (80 minutes), then the Corolis Bus 6 city-center-to-airport bus, but this trip takes longer and is more expensive than the Porte Maillot shuttle bus.
