Paris's Gare d'Austerlitz, just across the Seine from the Gare de Lyon in the southeastern part of the city (map), serves trains from southwestern France (the Pyrenees region), and those arriving from Spain. It is not among Paris's largest or busiest stations. Renovation and modernisation of the Gare d'Austerlitz was supposed to be completed several years ago, but is taking longer. Cities served from the Gare d'Austerlitz include Bourges, Briançon, Brive, Cahors, Irun, Latour, Limoges, Orleans, Montlucon, Nice, Tours and Vendôme. The Gare d'Austerlitz station is served by Métro Lines 5 and 10, and RER Line C. Here's how to buy train tickets in France.
