I walked into Adventureland at Disneyland Park and found myself in a Middle eastern village...or was it an African Village? Exotic music and sights surrounded me.

The biggest adventure in Adventureland is Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, a fast moving roller coaster that always provokes shrieks—some of delight, some of terror.

Calmer, but with its share of spooky things is the Pirates of the Caribbean boat ride, with its many bawdy characters

You may want to consider getting fastpass tickets for these two if the lines are long. This gives you an assigned time (30 minute time slot), so you can do other things and return to a special line at your assigned time.

For the younger kids, Le Passage Enchanté d'Aladdin, the Pirates' beach, and the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House (La Cabane des Robinson) provide plenty of fun.
